No. Every piece is made from 316L surgical-grade stainless steel and finished with 18K gold plating, so it won't tarnish, rust, or leave any green or black marks on your skin.
Yes — showering, washing your hands, sweating at the gym, and getting caught in the rain are all fine. We still recommend taking it off for chlorinated pools, the sea, and saunas to keep the gold plating looking new for longer.
Yes. 316L stainless steel is hypoallergenic and nickel-safe, so it's gentle on sensitive skin and ears — including freshly-healed piercings.
Demi-fine sits between fashion and fine jewellery: a solid stainless steel base (not hollow or brass) with real 18K gold plating. It lasts years like fine jewellery, but at a fraction of the price.
With normal everyday wear, the plating stays vibrant for 1–2+ years. Avoiding perfume, lotions, and harsh chemicals on the piece — and storing it dry — extends that further.
Put it on last (after perfume and makeup) and take it off first. Wipe with a soft dry cloth after wear, and store each piece in the pouch it came in to avoid scratches from other jewellery.
Tarnishing is covered by our 90-day tarnish guarantee: replaced free within 7 days of delivery, and for a ₹150 fee from day 8 to day 90. Breakage and other accidental damage are not covered. If a piece arrives incorrect, damaged or missing, tell us within 7 days of delivery (an unboxing video helps) and we'll replace it.
